Auctions, Shows, Books and Portraits

Some upcoming auctions, group exhibitions and books that feature my work.

I have three works in Arthouse, an online auction in aid of The Outhouse LGBT+ centre in Dublin, alongside works by Blaise Smith, Nick Miller and Ailbhe Barrett.

The first day’s auction concludes today Saturday 4th November at 3 o’clock, and the second day ends tomorrow at the same time. It looks like there are good bargains to be had, for a very good cause.

I’m delighted to have a portfolio of photographs and and an essay about my time in Paris in the latest edition of the beautiful Winter Papers arts anthology. It’s in bookshops and available here, and will be launched next Saturday at the Dublin Book Festival.

There’s a story of mine called The Two Amys in the upcoming Sunday Miscellany anthology, which is also being launched next week at the Festival.

Artist and conservationist John O’Donnell invited me to contribute two works to his upcoming auction in aid of the Simon Community. They will be on view in Gormley’s Gallery between 20th and 30th November alongside works by Imelda May, Melissa O’Donnell and Guggi, before being auctioned by Adams Auctioneers. You can read about it here.

I have work in three winter group shows: the HALFTONE Print Fair in the Library Project (which opens today at 2 o’clock), SO Fine Art Editions (December), and a collaboration with Olivier Cornet for his gallery’s yearly round-up (also December).

On sale in the HALFTONE Print Fair: Edge no 5, 2023, 40x30 cm, archival pigment print framed in walnut behind anti-reflective glass.

I’m also available for private portrait commissions, please get in touch if you’d like one.
